Podcast

This week, we were tasked with building a Podcast related to living in the digital world.  A Podcast is a digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a computer or media player.  It usually involves a series of new installments that people subscribe to. Podcasts are a great tool for learning because you can listen to them whenever you have free time.  Podcasts are uploaded automatically and synced with your devices so you have access to them easily.  Instead of listening to music, you can hear the opinions on the latest news in businness, sports, and any topic that you may be interested in.

I see Podcasts as the new version of blogs in the digital world.  It is a way to share opinions and knowledge in a more personal way.  The only difference is instead of reading text, you get to hear that individuals voice.  It's a new technology that is a great way to learn.  For example, you can find lectures from Harvard University online in Podcasts.  Think about what you can learn without having to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for tuition.

In my Podcast, I wanted to share some knowledge about Copyrights specifically relating to the music industry.  Music is available in plenty of tools online to download but some are legal ways and some are ilegal.  Check out my Podcast below for some examples:
